Buy storage from us and it appears as a second line, charged per GB on the storage size you ask for. Not sure how much you need? We will suggest a size. Bring your own bucket and this line is zero.

No feature gating on the things that matter
There is no higher tier that unlocks recovery, alerting, locked copies or the audit trail. A backup product that charges extra for restores has its incentives pointed the wrong way, and one that charges extra to make backups undeletable has them pointed worse still.

The commercial small print
Are these the final prices?
Not yet. They are the rates we expect to charge, and the estimator uses them, but while Satkosh is in pilot they are indicative. Your final figure depends on your mix of machines and how much storage you need, and we give you a firm quote before you commit.
What do we pay for storage?
Nothing to us, if you bring your own. Capacity is then billed by whoever holds it, or costs nothing at all when the drive is already yours. If you would rather buy storage from us, you choose the size, or we suggest one, and it is charged per GB on that size. It appears as its own line so you can always see which part of the bill is capacity.
Do you charge for restores or egress?
We do not. Restores are unlimited and we take no cut of data movement. If you are using your own bucket your storage provider may charge you for a large download. That is between you and them, and worth checking before you need it rather than during.
What counts as a server versus a workstation?
A server is a machine running a server operating system or a production workload: Windows Server, any Linux host, a database machine. A virtual machine is priced the same way regardless of what it runs on. A workstation is a staff laptop or desktop. If a machine is genuinely ambiguous we will price it as a workstation.
Is there a minimum commitment?
No. We work month to month, so you can leave whenever you want. Annual terms will be available once the price list is final.
How does pricing work for MSPs and partners?
Case by case for now. The partner console is not built yet. If you run backups for your own clients, tell us roughly how many devices you look after and we will work out terms with you.
