Per workload
Each machine you protect, priced by what it is. A laptop costs less than a server or a virtual machine because it is a smaller job. You count machines. Not gigabytes, not users, not sites.
You pay for the machines you want protected. Storage is a separate line, and only if you buy it from us. Point Satkosh at a bucket you already own and capacity never reaches our invoice at all.
Two lines on the invoice. One for each machine you protect, and one for storage, but only if the storage is ours. Bring your own bucket and you pay us nothing for capacity.

Buy storage from us and it appears as a second line, charged on what you actually hold once it has been compressed. Bring your own bucket and this line is zero.
Enough to know whether Satkosh fits your budget before you spend time on a call. It is not a quote, and we will say so again next to the figure.
Count what you want protected. Nothing here is a quote.

per month
Indicative only. These are not final rates and this is not a quote. What you actually pay depends on the mix of machines, how much data you hold once it is compressed, and how long you keep it. Talk to us and we will give you a real figure.
Get a final quoteThere is no higher tier that unlocks recovery, alerting, locked copies or the audit trail. A backup product that charges extra for restores has its incentives pointed the wrong way, and one that charges extra to make backups undeletable has them pointed worse still.
Because the honest number depends on your mix of machines, how much data you really hold once it is compressed, and how long you keep it. A rate card invites you to budget against a figure we would then have to correct in the first conversation. The estimator gets you the right ballpark. We would rather give you the real number ourselves.
Nothing to us, if you bring your own. Capacity is then billed by whoever holds it, or costs nothing at all when the drive is already yours. If you would rather buy storage from us it is charged per GB on what you actually hold, and it appears as its own line so you can always see which part of the bill is capacity.
We do not. Restores are unlimited and we take no cut of data movement. If you are using your own bucket your storage provider may charge you for a large download. That is between you and them, and worth checking before you need it rather than during.
A server is a machine running a server operating system or a production workload: Windows Server, any Linux host, a database machine. A virtual machine is priced the same way regardless of what it runs on. A workstation is a staff laptop or desktop. If a machine is genuinely ambiguous we will price it as a workstation.
We are working month to month with the customers we onboard, because we would rather you be able to leave than be locked in while we are still proving the product. Annual terms will be available once we have a settled price list.
Differently, and it is not settled yet. The multi-tenant partner module is still in development, and we are not going to publish partner rates for something we have not finished. If you run backups for your own clients, come to us with a rough device count and we will work out what makes sense.
Tell us how many servers and workstations you are protecting, roughly how much data that is, and where you want it to land. We will give you a real monthly figure and, more usefully, an honest read on whether Satkosh is the right fit.
